MKB Datalab

Die Jheronimus Academy of Data Science (JADS) ist eine Kooperation zwischen zwei niederländischen Universitäten (Tilburg und Eindhoven). Sie bringt Spitzenforscher auf dem Gebiet der Data Science zusammen. Dabei vereint JADS das technische Wissen der TU/e mit dem juristischen und sozio-ökonomischen Wissen der Universität Tilburg. JADS ist Heim von Start-ups, Scale-ups, Accelerators und Corporate Entrepreneurs. Durch die Verbreitung des diversen Wissens und der Expertise der Forschenden werden Synergien zwischen den Unternehmen und der Kommune geschaffen. Das MKB Datalab ist Teil von JADS.

Rolle in FBD

Das MKB Datalab entwickelt ein Modul, in dem KMU in der Nutzung datengetriebener Methoden geschult werden. Zusammen mit den diversen Hubs ist dies einer der zwei zentralen Teile des FBD-Projekts. Da die Expertise des MKB Datalab im Bereich der Datenanalyse und damit verbundener Felder im Vergleich mit den anderen Projektpartnern besonders groß ist, freuen sich die Partner, mit dem MKB Datalab zusammenarbeiten zu können, um durch die Entwicklung von Standards und zugänglichen Tools ein datengetriebens Modell zu entwickeln. Sirris ist das private Non-Profit-Forschungszentrum der belgischen technischen Industrie. Es ist bekannt für fünf verschiedene Felder: IKT, Advanced Manufactuiring, Mechatronik, Materialien und Nachhaltigkeit. Sein Daten und KI-Kompetenzzentrum hilft der Industrie bei Produkt- und Dienstleistungsinnovationen durch die smarte Nutzung von Data Science und das Einbinden von Real-World-Daten.

Sirris trägt zum Projekt bei durch: 1) die Beratung seines lokalen KMU-Netzwerks, 2) das Sammeln und Priorisieren ihrer Bedarfe und Anforderungen und 3) das Anpassen des Konzepts an diese Bedarfe und Anforderungen. Sirris ist auch an der Erstellung von Berichten, Tools und Methoden beteiligt (z.B. Workshopmaterial und Beispiellösungen), die KMU brauchen, um datengetrieben arbeiten zu können.

Universität Groningen

Die University of Groningen North West Germany (UGNWG) wurde zum Zweck des Wissenstransfers als öffenmtlich-proivates Vorhaben gegründet. Die UGNWG startete im nördlichen Emsland expandierte weiter nach Niedersachsen. Sie verfügt über alle relevanten und notwendigen Kompetenzen der Universität Groningen, Personal mit unterschiedlichen Fachhintergründen, aber auch generelle Erfahrung bei der Unterstützung von KMU.

Rolle in FBD

Die UGNWG beteiligt KMU im Emsland und Niedersachsen, initiiert Programme und stellt Dienstleistungen bereit, die auf den Tools basieren, die gemeinsam im Projekt entwickelt wurden. Dies soll durch die Nutzung des Fachwissens auf dem Gebiet des verarbeitenden Industrie, unter anderem bei den hochqualifizierte Mitarbeitern von Philips Lighting, das sich am selben Ort wie OMC befindet, erreicht werden. OMC verfolgt das Ziel, der produktivste Quadratkilometer im Bereich High-Tech / Life Sciences in der Gegend zu sein.

Rolle in FBD

OMC arbeitet eng mit Blenders zusammen, um eine Einheit zu bilden, die KMU in der Region, die durch große industrielle Cluster geprägt ist, zu verbinden.  Mit ihnen zusammen sucht OMC nach einem Weg, KMU durch einen datengetriebenen Ansatz und die Werkzeuge, die im Rahmen des Projekts entwickelt wurden, zu mehr Wachstum zu verhelfen. OMC wird von vielen KMU in der Community als Wissensverbreitungsplattform innerhalb und zwischen drei wirtschaftlichen Branchen genutzt.

NHL Stenden

Die NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences ist eine erfahrene Forschungsinstitution in den Bereichen Regionalökonomie, Entrepreneurship und unternehmerische Ökosysteme. Sie verfügt auch über Erahrungen in Design Thinkking-Aktivitäten mit KMU (Fryslân Design Academy, Design Studio, SiGa und YnBusiness). atene KOM

Die atene KOM GmbH ist im Bereich der Projektentwicklung und des Projektmanagements tätig und bringt Kommunen, Landkreise und Unternehmen zusammen, um eine nachhaltige Regionalentwicklung zu fördern. Die Stärkung des ländlichen Raums steht dabei im Fokus ihrer Arbeit. Mit Partnern in ganz Europa arbeitet die atene KOM in Förderprojekten, beispielsweise zur Digitalisierung des ländlichen Raums, zusammen. Überdies betreibt die atene KOM das Breitbandbüro des Bundes und fungiert als Projektträger des Förderprogramms für den Ausbau des Gigabit-Internets im Auftrag des Bundesverkehrsministeriums. Neben fachlicher Expertise unterstützt die atene KOM im Bereich Kommunikation, Organisation und Marketing, mit dem Ziel, (transnationale) Kooperationen zwischen Wirtschaft, Forschung und dem öffentlichen Sektor zu ermöglichen.

Rolle in FBD

Die atene KOM GmbH leitet gemeinsam mit dem Alexandersoninstitut das Arbeitspaket “Kommunikation” und ist für die regionale Umsetzung in Osterholz-Scharmbeck und Umgebung (Nordwestdeutschland) verantwortlich. Zu diesem Zweck arbeitet die atene KOM mit KMU und regionalen Stakeholdern zusammen, um die spezifischen Bedarfe der Unternehmen zu identifizieren und die entwickelten Werkzeuge auf diese anzupassen. Die Anglia Ruskin University Higher Education Corporation (ARU) arbeitet im Osten des Vereinigten Königreichs mit Unternehmern, KMU und Zulieferern von zentralen Akteuren der regionalen Ökonomie zusammen. ARU arbeitet eng mit kleineren KMU und größeren KMU in Lieferketten zusammen, ist ein glaubwürdiger Partner und verfügt über Zugang zu KMU sowie Forschungs- und Umsetzungswerkzeuge, um KMU zu motivieren, Ergebnisse an diese zu verteilen und sie zu inspirieren. ARU ist eine regionale Universität, die in einem Großteil des östlichen UK präsent ist und daher leicht mit den KMU-Zielgruppen für dieses Projekt in Kontakt kommen kann.

Das Alexanderson-Institut hat weitreichende Erfahrungen in der Kommunikation und Vrebreitung von Informationen zu nachhaltiger Entwicklung in der Wirtschaft. Das Alexanderson-Institut nutzt diese Erfahrung im Projekt und ist zusammen mit der atene KOM für das Arbeitspaket Kommunkation verantwortlich. Es nutzt auch eigene Kontakte in der schwedischen Projektregion, um Unternehmen zu erreichen und Workshops und Seminare im Rahmen des Horizin-Scanning und Knowledge Trasnfer Hubs zum Thema Big Data zu ermöglichen.

Northern Knowledge

Business Generator Groningen (BG) unterstützt durch die Herstellung von Kontakten und Lizensierungsoptionen den Wissenstransfer von der UMCG und der Universität Groningen an Unternehmen. Der Wissenstransfer beinhaltet mehrere Schritte und BG untesrtützt bei jedem einzelnen davon (z.B. beim Sichten von Ideen, dem Schutz geistigen Eigentums, der Identifizierung von Partnern und Kunden und der Verhandlung von Verträgen). BG bietet Gründern und Unternehmen auch Unterstützung bei ihrer Strategieentwickluing, dem Erstellen von Businessplänen, der Organisationsstruktur und finanziellen Beurteilungen.

Rolle in FBD

BG beteiligt KMU im Hinterland, initiiert Programme und stellt Dienstleistungen zur Verfügung, die auf den Tools basieren, die zusammen im Projekt entwickelt wurden. BG verbindet relevante Abteilungen seiner drei Wissensinstitutionen und möchte das weitere Hinterland mit den Angeboten von Northern Knowledge in Kontakt bringen.
